I’m Jacob Robbie. I graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Florida International University and have been enjoying living in the Triangle since 2021.

I have a passion for assisting patients who are eager to return to their favorite activities, improving quality of life in everyday activities, or improving athletic performance through individualizing a plan of care that meets their specific needs. My specific philosophy centers around a mind-body approach, which to me means helping the patient better connect with their body through hands on interventions. These interventions include hands-on guided exercise, breathwork/core, return to sport/activity exercises, or manual techniques such as cupping, Soft Tissue Mobilization, or dry needling that help manage symptoms.

As a healthcare practitioner who has seen firsthand how people can be treated in an assembly line manner, I believe that every patient deserves to be treated with attention to detail and personalized care to ensure the most efficient outcomes are achieved. Because of this, I strive to ensure every session precisely fits the patient’s current needs.

Outside of my career…. I love doing activities like soccer, trail running/hiking, yoga, pilates. golf, skiing, date nights with my partner, and reading a novel or watching a captivating show. My partner is a PhD candidate at Duke in the Pathology program with a specific focus on neurodegeneration. I can do my best to answer questions about the intricacies of her thesis, but no promises.

I also enjoy hearing what other people are passionate about and the details of why they are engrossed by it.
